We look forward to welcoming Australian and international delegates to the biennial AADES National Conference to be held at the Wrest Point Conference Centre in Hobart on July 15 - 17, 2011. The conference title is Crossing Borders, Shifting Boundaries: designing, delivering and leading effective elearning.

Outstanding speakers from the United States, Finland, Australia and New Zealand will deliver keynote addresses at the conference. The three-day program will also feature presentations by researchers, teacher educators, teachers, students and industry specialists. The conference will include opportunitities for delegates to participate in pre-conference and post-conference activity.

The conference will enable delegates to share their practice and develop their understanding of the ways that effective elearning design, delivery and leadership can enhance the educational experiences and outcomes of students in distance and mainstream settings.

We look forward to presenting you with what we believe will be one of the most significant events on the Australasian education calendar for 2011.
